Description

A UV LED provides
the UV source
in this test rig.
Because of its
construction there
is no radiation
hazard and
students can test the UV absorbing properties of
various materials such as lenses from sunglasses,
various coloured glasses, reflective film etc.
For more quantitative measurements the UV
Photo Detector 20-450 can be used.
The unit requires a normal 12V D.C. power supply.
