A self contained, sealed, acrylic enclosure
measuring 180 × 180 × 40mm containing
polystyrene spheres. When lightly rubbed with
a cloth, the static charge developed causes the
spheres to jump around inside the unit.
A convenient and dramatic demonstration of
charged particle attraction.
