The Teltron range of demonstration discharge
tubes has been designed to show the properties
of the free electron.
The D range is the original Teltron range with
connections fixed on the tubes. The S range is
a newer range withconnections on the stand
rather than the tubes.Please note the ranges are
not interchangeable.
This holder is the mounting point for the
entire line of Teltron of Student (‘S’) Series
and related accessories, suchas the Helmholtz
Coils S and Auxiliary Coil. An easily replaceable
fuse is located in the holder to protect the
valuable tubes from excessive voltage. The slots
forholding coils have metric rulings to ensure
precise adjustments with a maximum spacing of
150 mm. The Auxiliary Coil can be inserted into
the stepped front sideof the tube holder.
Features: Five pin socket is concealed inside
the tube holder. Cathode protection switch
integrated into the tube holder. Protects heated
cathode from excessive voltage. Base plate
features slot for attaching the Teltron Helmholtz
Coils S.
