This kit has been aligned with all published National Standards. Preand Post-laboratory assessments and vocabulary words all target specific “Did You Know” concepts that link the real world with the scientific standards explored. The activity includes enough materials for 15 students or lab groups, a teacher’s guide, and student copymaster. Materials included:
500 mL glucose/starch solution
20 mL Iodine Potassium Iodide solution (IKI)
2 packages, glucose testing strips
15 Cups
15 pipettes
15 feet dialysis tubing Instructions including answer key and student worksheets
Materials not included:
Graduated cylinder
Beaker (to soak dialysis tubing)
Distilled water (to soak dialysis tubing)
Scissors (to cut dialysis tubing)
Tape measurer or ruler (to measure dialysis tubing)
