astrolabe, scale models, astrophotography
and other astronomers’ tools.
Demonstrations look at constellations, the
Big Bang, birth and death of stars, galaxy
types, and our sun. Includes materials for
12 lab stations as well as the DVDs Beyond
the Solar System and The Sun, Our Closest
Star, and a teacher’s guide containing
strategies, tips, pretest, student worksheets
and national standards correlations. Duration
