Centrifuge high speed 24 x 1.5/2Ml – ISG
-
Description
The ISG high speed micro-centrifuge is widely used
for specimen preparation in molecular and cellular
biology. These techniques would be widely used in
University and Industrial research laboratories. The
ISG centrifuge can also be used in high end research
applications such as sedimentation of cells and viruses
and separation of sub-cellular organelles.
The ISG micro-centrifuge features a 24 x 1.5/2.0ml rotor
made from high strength aluminium which is fully
autoclavable. The rotor has an anti-sample overflow
which ensures tubes do not leak during the process
and cause microbial contamination. Four different
rotors are available and smaller 0.5/0.2ml tubes can be
used with adapters. The high quality cast casing gives
stability, reliability and noise reduction throughout the
process. The centrifuge will spin from 200 – 15000rpm
and can be controlled in 10rpm increments.
Two unique features on the ISG® Micro-Centrifuge
are:
Special multi-flow air cooling system to help keep the
rotor temperature low
Temperature displays allows sensitive samples to be
protected from damage
A user friendly LCD screen allows running information
including both RPM and G force to be displayed easily.
The running of the centrifuge can be timed between 30
seconds and 99 minutes or can be used in continuous
mode. The timer only starts when the desired speed is
reached to ensure accurate separation time. The ISG®
centrifuge also has a ‘short spin’ function which can be
operated by pressing and holding the ‘Pulse’ button.
