Description

Three short springs with common spring constants allow students to investigate both series and parallel springs. For an even larger demonstration, five long springs — three with common spring constants and two with higher and lower spring constants — help students explore the differences in springs of common length. An attached meter, scale, and pointer make recording data easy and fun. Kit includes eight springs, triple spring holder, meter stick, pointer, multiple spring bracket, and instructions with activites. Requires the Fun Stand and hooked masses, available separately.
